As reported by GamesBeat, Pocketful of Quarters, founded in 2018 by George Weiksner, a 12-year-old young man, and his father Michael, became a Unity partner by obtaining the Unity Verified Solution Partner certification.

All game developers using Unity now easily access the company’s software developer kit (SDK).

Michael Weiksner said the following words in his statement about the partnership:

“With over three billion video game players and the metaverse representing an $8 trillion opportunity, investors, players and developers deserve a say in the future of gaming. As the biggest blockchain project in the world, POQ is ushering in a new age of interoperability within games, empowering players and developers to create the future of gameplay and the metaverse that we want.”

In addition, Michael Weiksner is an investor supporting more than ten companies under the wings of Rostrum Capital.

The company’s digital tokens are called Quarters. Unity developers can easily integrate this token system into their games via the SDK. The company’s vision is to make these POQ tokens a “safe and compliant” option.

It has been announced that more than 60 companies have recently signed up to integrate POQ tokens into their games. In addition, the fact that the company does not collect personal information other than the purchase and sales history looks pretty reassuring for the players.
