Saudi Arabian-based Spoilz Games announced that it had raised $693,000 (2.6 million riyals) from its pre-seed investment round. According to the statement, the investment was made by a group of angel investors.
Riyadh-based Spoilz is called “Spoils” on the App Store and “Spoilz Studio” on Google Play. The company has two games called Jet Warrior and Smack Sack.
On the subject, Musab Almalki, the founder and CEO of Spoilz, said:
“MENA’s game industry is expected to grow rapidly in the next few months, creating a need for quality content to meet users’ expectations. This fund will enable us to grow and publish games that compete globally.”
Spoliz wants to participate in the global competition. The company will expand its operations and target audience, especially in the MENA region. There is also the development of new games. The rapidly growing mobile game industry of the MENA region brings many investments. For example, only in Turkey 8 game studios were invested in the first three months of 2022.
