Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that it has acquired Netherlands-based game studio Nixxes Software. Under this acquisition, Nixxes Softwares will join the PlayStation Studios Technology, Creative & Services Group family, which supports other studios within Sony. The amount and conditions of the acquisition have not yet been disclosed.
Sony announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Returnal developer Housemarque. The Nixxes Software acquisition marks Sony’s second studio to join PlayStation Studios in a week.
PlayStation Studios president Hermen Hulst made the following comments about the acquisition:
