Testronic has been providing functionality and localization QA, player support, translation, compatibility, compliance, and live operations services for the past 24 years. Along with the new Lisbon office, it has studios in Warsaw, New Orleans, London, Bucharest, and Belgrade.

The company will benefit from the experience and talent of the local workforce to offer localization, support, and functionality QA, along with player support services. Location-wise, the new studio will allow Testronic to create a hub between its US teams and the European teams.

Testronic’s M&A, Marius Potirniche, had these comments about the new studio opening its doors:

“Portugal has a vibrant and growing games industry, and Lisbon is a hugely multicultural city, which means it’s the perfect place to open our latest localization studio. We’ve assembled a great team of technicians already, and will be recruiting further in 2022 as we expand the studio.”

The company has worked with huge names in gaming, such as Square Enix, Tencent, Riot Games, Deep Silver, Humble Bundle, and many more. Testronic’s parent company, Catalis Group, consists of two companies. Along with Testronic, the group also has a UK-based game publishing label called Curve Games.

The Film & TV branch of the company had completed the acquisition of Check Disc Labs and Giant Interactive, both US-based. The QA and localization company has also added Master Quality Control (MQC) services to its endeavors in UK and Poland.
