Have you ever dreamed of making a AAA game but lacked the resources and infrastructure? If yes, you are not alone. Many game developers face the same challenges, primarily when they work remotely or collaborate with other studios. Remāngu was created: to provide a cloud-based game development platform that solves these problems.

Story

Remāngu’s story started with 3Bohemians, an animation studio that wanted to make a AAA game. However, they struggled with AAA studios’ security and compliance requirements and integrating their remote artists into the studio environment. They needed a game development environment that was secure, compliant, flexible, and easy to use.

To solve this problem, Remāngu’s team builds a game development environment from scratch in AWS and helps 3Bohemians achieve their dream. They helped them achieve their goal of making a AAA game. You can watch the story of Remāngu’s first customer here:

After this success, the Remāngu team realized that there was a huge demand for such a solution in the game industry. They decided to work more in this area and delivered 20-30 virtual game studio environments on a project basis. Finally, they created their own platform: Remāngu.

The Team

The team behind Remāngu is relatively and completely remote. They have a few people in Prague, Czech Republic, including Jan Sechovec as CTO and Product Lead, their development team, and their Customer Success Lead Jakub Blazek. Štěpán Kaiser is responsible for business operations and marketing and is based in Tallinn, Estonia. Fergus O’Callaghan covers the US market and is based in San Francisco.

Remāngu is a spin-off of Revolgya leading European AWS and GCP partner.
