Sensor Tower, one of the leading platforms for performance metrics has shared the top mobile games by downloads in Southeast Asia for December 2022. FIFA Mobile claimed the top spot with nearly 5 million installs.

According to Sensor Tower’s data, My Hotpot Story became the second most installed mobile game with 4.7 million downloads and reached an all-time high, increasing its download numbers by 142% over November 2022. My Hotpot Story also ranked as number one in Vietnam as the game encouraged its Vietnamese players to share their gaming experience on their social media platforms, thus increasing interactions.
The Southeast Asia mobile games market generated over 745 million downloads across the App Store and Google Play in December 2022, marking an increase of 1.7% year over year. Indonesia became the hot market for mobile games, with 298 million downloads and over 40% of the total downloads in the region, while Vietnam and the Philippines followed closely.
