In 2023, 19 mobile games achieved the significant milestone of surpassing $1 billion in revenue, according to a report from data.ai. Among the titles contributing to this feat are renowned games such as LoL: Wild Rift, Marvel Strike Force, and mobile versions of EA Sports FC and eFootball.

In total, 26 mobile apps surpassed the billion mark, and 19 of these are mobile games. Eleven of these successful titles were either developed or published by Asian companies, including Camel Games, Bandai Namco, Tencent, and Konami.

The list of mobile games that crossed the $1 billion revenue threshold in 2023 is as follows, in alphabetical order:

  • Age of Origins: A post-apocalyptic tower defense game by Chinese mobile developer/publisher Camel Games.
  • Arena of Valor: The global version of Tencent’s MOBA hit Honor of Kings.
  • Arknights: A tower defense game with RPG elements developed by Chinese studio Hypergryph.
  • Boom Beach: A strategy title from Supercell.
  • DoubleU Casino: A social casino title developed by South Korean company DoubleU Games.
  • EA Sports FC Mobile 24 Soccer: The mobile version of Electronic Arts’ football game.
  • eFootball 2024: The mobile version of Konami’s sports franchise (previously known as Pro Evolution Soccer).
  • League of Legends: Wild Rift: A mobile MOBA from Riot Games.
  • Lightning Link Casino: A social casino game by Product Madness, owned by Australian gambling manufacturer Aristocrat Leisure.
  • Lineage W: One of several mobile titles based on the MMORPG franchise Lineage.
  • Marvel Strike Force: A turn-based RPG from Scopely, acquired by Saudi Arabia’s Savvy Games Group.
  • Odin Valhalla Rising: A mobile MMORPG developed by South Korean company Lionheart Studios.
  • One Piece Treasure Cruise: A mobile RPG based on the One Piece franchise from Bandai Namco.
  • PokoPoko: A match-3 title developed by Japanese company Line Corporation.
  • Puzzles & Survival: A match-3 title created by Chinese developer 37Games.
  • Royal Match: A match-3 title developed by Turkish studio Dream Games.
  • Solitaire Grand Harvest: A mobile card game from Australian studio Supertreat.
  • War and Order: A tower defense game by Camel Games.
  • World Series of Poker: A mobile card game from Israel-based mobile publisher Playtika.
