Oyun dünyasının en prestijli ödülleri olarak bilinen The Game Awards 2020’nin adayları belli oldu. Oyunların 30 kategoride yarışacağı ödül töreni 10 Aralık’ta gerçekleşecek.
Among Us, Call of Duty Mobile, Genshin Impact, Legends of Runeterra ve Pokémon Café Mix The Game Awards 2020’nin En İyi Mobil Oyunlar kategorisinde aday gösterilen isimler oldu.
2018 yılında yayınlanmış olan Among Us bu yıl popülaritesini bir anda artırarak Ekim ayının en çok indirilen oyunu olmayı başardı.
Among Us’a rakip olarak, Activision’ın Call of Duty: Mobile’ı da En İyi Mobil Oyunlar kategorisinde kendine yer buldu. Ekim 2019’daki lansmanından bu yana popülerliğini kanıtlayan oyun, bir yıl içinde 300 milyon indirilmeyi aştı. Buna ek olarak, Call of Duty: Mobile yakında 500 milyon dolarlık gelir sınırına ulaşacak gibi görünüyor.
Kategorideki bir diğer önemli isim ise MiHoYo’nun Gendhin Impact’i oldu. İlk haftasında 23 milyon indirilen açık dünya oyunu Ekim ayında 245 milyon dolarlık hasılat elde etti.
En İyi Mobil Oyun için son iki aday ise Riot Games tarafından Legends of Runeterra ve Genius Sonority’den Pokemon Cafe Mix.
Bu yıl en fazla kategoride aday gösterilen yayıncı ise PlayStation oldu. 22 kategoride aday olan firmanın macera oyunu The Last of Us Part II toplam 10 kategoride aday gösterildi.
