Wildlife Studios has announced a new Helsinki-based gaming entity by the title of Stellar Core Games. With this new studio, the company increased its developer count to four. The remaining three studios are Moon Tavern Games, Never Forget Games, and SuperWow Games.

Touko Tahkokallio will carry the position of Chief Creative Officer, while Serdar Soğancı will assume the Studio Director role. Soğancı has almost 20 years of experience in game development, working on massive titles such as Angry Birds and Best Fiends.
Tahkokallio, on the other hand, has his name written all over hugely popular games like Brawl Stars, Everdale, Clash Quest, Boom Beach, and Hay Day. He’s made comments on working with Wildlife Studios and the future of Stellar Core:
“Wildlife Studios has offered us an opportunity of a lifetime. In doing so, we will be laser-focused on creating games that we’ve been dreaming about for years. With the abundance of talent in Helsinki, we are excited for the future of Stellar Core and what we will be creating together.”
Victor Lazarte, Co-Founder and CEO of Wildlife Studios, also shared thoughts about the veteran names joining the company:
“Just looking at their track record, they have brought joyful gameplay to millions, and by using their “simple as possible” formula, we believe that they will continue to develop games that will entertain even greater numbers for years to come.”
Wildlife Studios won multiple awards at this year’s W3 award show, obtaining gold and silver awards in categories such as art direction, visual design, UX, and sound design. The company currently has 700 employees, over 2 billion downloads, 60 games, and five offices.
