InvestGame opens its games industry deal database as a searchable platform

The team behind InvestGame’s Weekly Digest and Quarterly Reports has launched a searchable business intelligence platform covering gaming companies, investors, funding rounds, acquisitions and public-market activity.

At launch, the database included more than 8,600 gaming companies across 110 countries, 4,300 investor profiles and 6,200 tracked deals with a combined value of $472 billion, according to InvestGame.

The platform is built around the same deal-by-deal data used for InvestGame’s Weekly Digest and market reports, but allows users to search and filter the underlying information directly.

Finding active games industry investors

One of the platform’s main functions is investor discovery.

Users can search curated lists of venture capital funds, angel investors, strategic investors and potential acquirers, with filters including investment stage, platform and region.

Investor profiles also include their recent gaming investments. For developers preparing a fundraising round, this provides a way to identify investors that have recently deployed capital into companies matching their stage or segment rather than relying only on historical portfolio information.

The database can similarly be used by investors, publishers and corporate development teams looking for studios and potential acquisition or investment targets.

Tracking new studios and company activity

InvestGame is also expanding its company tracking beyond businesses that have already announced major transactions.

More than 100 companies founded in 2026 have already been added to the platform, including 11 from Türkiye, according to the company.

Individual company profiles can be used to follow indicators including headcount changes, hiring activity, financing history and public-market developments.

The approach turns InvestGame’s deal coverage into a continuously updated company database rather than a collection of individual investment announcements.

InvestGame brings its database to Claude

The platform also introduces an AI-based way to work with its data.

Users can connect InvestGame with Claude and query the database using natural-language questions instead of manually building individual searches.

For example, a user could ask which mobile studios raised early-stage funding during a specific period and which investors led those rounds. Results can then be traced back to the underlying deals in InvestGame’s database.

This could make the platform particularly useful for research involving several variables, such as identifying active investors within a particular geography, investment stage or gaming segment.

Reports, exports and API access

Alongside database search, InvestGame offers access to its existing research products, including its weekly deal digest, regional market maps and investor rankings.

Data can also be exported to XLSX for further analysis, while a REST API is available for companies that want to integrate InvestGame’s data into their own internal models and tools.

InvestGame has tracked investments, M&A, public offerings and other transactions across the games industry since 2020, with its reports regularly examining deal activity across mobile, PC and console gaming as well as gaming technology and infrastructure.

The platform can be accessed through app.investgame.net, with a free tier available without requiring a payment card.

Mobidictum readers can also receive a 10% discount on paid InvestGame plans by using the code MOBIDICTUM.
