Metis Creative, founded in 2021 by Sarp Duyar and Doğa Can Sayılkan, is a tabletop gaming studio based in Istanbul, Turkiye. The company began as a collaboration among a group of passionate friends from Istanbul and has since grown into a global operation, with team members spanning multiple countries.
The studio has gained recognition for its rich storytelling and immersive worlds, earning an ENNIE Award, one of the most prestigious honors in the tabletop role-playing game industry—for its work on “Historica Arcanum.” Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin referred to the ENNIE Awards as “the most prestigious honors in role-playing” in 2010.
