Bidstack executive team acquires Bidstack Limited and all its subsidiaries

Bidstack Ltd has announced its acquisition of Bidstack Limited and all operating entities of the Group from the administrators of Bidstack Group PLC.

The deal resulted in James Draper, Founder & CEO, and the executive team of Bidstack Ltd becoming significant majority shareholders. Under the new ownership structure, all contracts and client relationships will continue, ensuring job security for UK and European-based staff

Bidstack, a multi-award-winning in-game middleware technology provider, initially focused on bringing programmatic advertising revenue to sports gaming franchises worldwide. It has since diversified into a broader offering, leveraging an advanced off-engine content management system in gaming.

The management team has been concentrating on sports rights holders as a key customer type, following a partnership announcement with the Washington Commanders. This partnership marked the first instance of an NFL franchise utilizing a platform to control advertising within their virtual stadium across official NFL games from various studios and developers.

The executive management team remains unchanged, with James Draper continuing as Chief Executive Officer, Lisa Hau as Chief Financial Officer, Dave Garvey as Chief Legal Officer, Will Stewart as Chief Product Officer, and Daniel Barrigas as Chief Technology Officer.

James Draper, Founder & CEO, expressed his enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating:

“The acquisition is a pivotal moment for the next phase of growth for the business. Our technology is at the forefront of sports technology and I couldn’t be more excited. I am proud that we are able to reward our ambitious and industry pioneering team and have them as shareholders alongside myself.”

Draper also thanked staff and customers for their support during the strategic review process, emphasizing the importance of the relationships built over the years. He highlighted the company’s focus on enabling sports teams to engage with their fans and improve player experience through real-time messaging, rewards, and engagements.

Acknowledging the challenges of the current public market environment, Draper expressed gratitude for the support from industry leaders and the company’s Board of Directors.
