Based in Northern Ireland and the United Arab Emirates, Classy Games Studios announced that it has received an undisclosed amount of investment from Merak Capital & Exel by Merak in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The company was founded by Jamie McClenaghan in 2020 to bridge the European and Middle Eastern markets with a unique blend of creativity and cultural experience.
Games of Classy Games Studios
Classy Games Studios first game was called Orbital and launched on Google Play Store. Developed specially for Android, Orbital is a fast-paced game that tests players timing, planning, and decision skills.
The second game is called “Silly Suspects“, and the game is preparing for an Early Access launch on Steam. The game is a first-person, detective, RPG, with a comedic twist on the murder mystery genre.
Saudi Arabia’s gaming scene is booming
Late in 2024, Merak Capital launched an $81 million gaming fund and accelerator, Exel By Merak, to empower gaming startups and position Saudi Arabia as a global gaming hub.
On February 13, 2025, Savvy Games Group & Merak Capital partnered to boost Saudi Arabia’s gaming investment scene.
