Farming Simulator celebrates 15th Anniversary with 2.5B mods downloaded

Since 2008, over 30 million units of Farming Simulator have been sold worldwide.

GIANTS Software’s Farming Simulator, the internationally acclaimed simulation series, celebrates its 15th birthday. The first Farming Simulator was released on PC in April 2008 and evolved into a franchise.

GIANTS Software continuously extends Farming Simulator 22 with free and paid content to introduce even more renowned agricultural brands, brand-new machinery and additional gameplay elements, modding is not only allowed, but strongly supported. 2.5 billion mods have been downloaded over the course of the series and multiple platforms.

The company’s dedication for user-generated content is also proven by the fact that the internal QA department not only curates, but actively tests submitted mods while official mod tools and tutorials are provided.
