Frantic Games, a mobile game studio based in Ankara, Türkiye, has raised $2.4 million in pre-seed funding to develop action-based hybrid-casual mobile games. Vgames led the funding, and Akın Babayiğit and 500 Emerging Europe also contributed.
Frantic Games plans to invest in development capabilities and expand its reach. The start-up aims to create extraordinary experiences for gamers worldwide while fostering a community of gamers who share their enthusiasm for games.
The company’s team has more than seven years of experience in the mobile game industry and diverse backgrounds in game design, programming, and art, with each member having. They have previously worked on successful titles like Fidget Trading, Touchdown Glory, Match Tile 3D, Epic Race, and Match 3D.

Frantic Games will work on the hybrid-casual genre, combining two mechanics with lesser complexity providing clean design concepts for deeper meta-structure and gameplay times. The company plans to grow its team of six to about 12 members and is currently developing an action shooter with driving mechanics based on arcade zombie killing.
