Subway Surfers celebrate 4 billion lifetime downloads

Subway Surfers might dominate the 2020s as it did in 2010s.

Denmark-based video game company SYBO Games announced that its immensely popular game Subway Surfers had reached 4 billion lifetime downloads.

Subway Surfers, an endless runner mobile game, was released in 2012. In March 2018, Subway Surfers became the first game on the Google Play Store to cross the one billion downloads threshold. In May 2018, Subway Surfers crossed the two billion download mark, and in 2020, the game reached the 3 billion downloads milestone. Currently, Subway Surfers is the most downloaded mobile game of all time.

SYBO shared the milestone on its LinkedIn page with a message saying:

“After being named the most-downloaded game of 2022, Subway Surfers celebrates yet another major milestone. We’re honored to spread joy to millions of players around the globe every day, and would like to express our appreciation for the Surfers who have supported us from day one.

According to Appmagic’s data, Subway Surfers was the most downloaded mobile game of 2022, which marked its 10th anniversary.

Subway Surfers has over 20 million daily active users and over 150 million monthly active users.
