GameOn, a fantasy sports platform, has finalized its software development and support agreement with Sportsology following the previous announcement of their letter of intent. The partnership aims to launch, operate, and monetize Web3 games in collaboration with leading sports leagues.
Under the terms of the agreement, GameOn anticipates driving $2.3 million in development fees into Q4, along with an annual recurring revenue of $1.4 million starting from 2024. The total expected value of the deal is $9.3 million over five years, with the potential for growth and additional opportunities in the partnership.
The $GAME token, integral to GameOn’s platform, is designed to boost fan engagement and revenue growth for game developers and sports leagues globally. The platform seeks to enhance player experiences in various sports-specific games, including fantasy games, predictor games, card battle games, sports betting games, and others as the ecosystem matures.
Developers will leverage $GAME to provide interoperability between games, distributed rewards, true ownership of assets, and additional benefits for sports fans and gamers. GameOn and Sportsology will reveal more details about $GAME in early 2024.
