Mohamed El Sheakh has announced the founding of Games Ventures, a company dedicated to helping the development of mobile games. Games Ventures aims to create profitable mobile games for the Middle East and global markets with local and international investments.
El Sheakh’s career began in Dubai in 2004. He soon joined Nokia, where he advanced from Business Manager to become the Global Head of Partnership Marketing for Mobile Phones. After his time at Nokia, he briefly served as the Partner Business Lead for Microsoft, responsible for the Middle East, India, Turkiye, and Africa.
His most significant tenure was at Apple, where he started as an App Store Manager and ultimately rose to Head of the App Store for the Middle East, Turkiye, and Africa.
In May 2024, El Sheakh founded Apps Ventures, an advisory and investment firm focused on mobile games and apps.
