Grand-Attic, the mobile game studio previously known as Hadi, has raised $5.3 million in a funding round led by Makers Fund. The round also saw participation from Tripledot co-founder Akin Babayigit, Coda Labs co-founder Şekip Can Gökalp, and Griffin Gaming Partners, an existing investor.

The company, co-founded in 2022 by former Gram Games and Voodoo employees, raised $5.2 million in November 2021. The latest investment will be used to develop casual mobile games.

CEO Mark Muller said:

“Grand-Attic was built on the power of small, independent teams working to create, iterate and innovate on high-quality mobile experiences. As we rebrand from Hadi to Grand-Attic, and move our HQ to the UK, we will continue to hire from the best global talent, including Turkey, to deliver the next generation of top mobile games around the world.”

Hadi was headquartered in İstanbul. After the rebranding and the investment, the company disclosed that it would move its headquarters to London. However, CEO Mark Muller confirmed that the studio remains dedicated to recruiting talent from Turkey.
