Hutch, a renowned automotive mobile game developer based in London, and Turn 10 Studios, an esteemed first-party video game developer within Xbox Game Studios known for their popular Forza franchise, began discussing this project in 2020. By leveraging Forza’s exceptional gameplay and visual style and combining it with Hutch’s expertise in mobile live-ops, the partnership was established, driven by the shared goal of delivering a leading automotive gaming experience.
With a focus on catering to the needs of mobile players, Hutch is dedicated to creating an original game that offers engaging gameplay suitable for on-the-go enjoyment. The upcoming game, unveiled soon, centers around car customization as a core gameplay mechanic. Drawing on their extensive experience in mobile gaming spanning over a decade, Hutch will lead in developing the title, with valuable creative input and guidance from Turn 10.
Shaun Rutland, CEO and Co-founder of Hutch said:
“Our philosophy for game development is mobile-first, with gameplay experiences that work for players on this platform. We’re committed to creating strategic games that enable our community of players to celebrate their passion for cars. It’s that same passion for cars, as well as creating platform-leading titles about cars, that brought us together with Turn 10. Coming together to work on a title made immediate sense, and we’re incredibly excited to show you the results of our last few years of collaboration.”
The joint venture between Hutch and Turn 10 Studios promises an exciting mobile game experience that will captivate car enthusiasts and gamers. Stay tuned for further updates on the game.
