Jordan to Host Massive Esports Summit in November.

For the twelfth time in a row, under the Royal Patronage of King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein, Jordan Gaming Lab (JGL) is planning to host an event dedicated to the future of Esports. More specifically, the event will cover the environmental and infrastructural significance of Esports in the modern world, as well as strategies to advance cyber sports disciplines further. 

JGL is also planning to hold warm up events starting with the north of Jordan, Umm Qais, passing through Amman, Petra, with the final tournament in Aqaba. Speakers from more than 10 countries, and 15 leading companies around the world, will gather in the event to share their experiences in Esports, including: 

-HRH Prince Omar Bin Faisal, President of the Jordan Esports Federation

-Laylah Bulman, Senior Program Manager and Executive Game Producer at Minecraft Education

-Alexander L. Fernandez, CEO & Co-Founder of Streamline Media Group

-Arwin Fallah Shirazi, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Shikenso Analytics

The event is organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MODEE), Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC), Jordan Esports Federation, and Zain Esports. Gaming Summit has grown significantly since its inception in 2011, and attracted attention from many cyber athletes and gamers in the region. The educational event is free to Jordanian developers, international indie Developers, and Esports Enthusiast as part of King Abdullah II Fund for Development and Jordan Gaming Lab’s support, which aims to accommodate all Jordanians with passion for esports gaming.
