Keywords Studios enters a conditional agreement to acquire Helpshift

The company has announced the acquisition of customer support platform Helpshift for up to $75 million.

Keywords Studios has acquired Helpshift, an innovative consumer-facing digital support platform for $75 million. The terms of the acquisition include an initial cash consideration of up to $60 million, and up to $15 million in cash and shares, depending on financial performance over the next couple of years.

Helpshift is headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in India and the UK, and has developed a market-leading proprietary software-as-a-service (“SAAS”), a customer support automation tool used by clients including Supercell, Tencent, and Zynga. 

Keywords Studios is an Irish video game industry services company based in Leopardstown. The Studio works as an external development partner.
