Founded in 2022 by Murat Baysal and based in İzmir, Türkiye, Mage Games launched its first game, Goal Battle, in select countries.

The game allows players to face their rivals and friends in online matches with various characters. Every team has one Goalkeeper, one defender, two wingers, and a striker with varying abilities. Every game is one minute long.

Core gameplay includes shooting, passing, and dribbling while on offense, and positioning and tackling on defense. Additionally, players can activate special abilities, such as power shots, that grant temporary, game-changing advantages.

The game’s progression system is similar to titles like Clash Royale, where players earn rewards such as gold and character cards by unlocking chests. These rewards allow players to upgrade their teams and build the best synergy.

Goal Battle follows a hybrid monetization model with rewarded ads, in-app purchases, and a traditional Season Pass model that gives players bonus rewards for subscribing.

According to AppMagic data, the game has reached 3 million downloads in over 60 countries over its lifetime. Turkiye leads the player count at 13%, followed by Mexico at 11% and Colombia at 8%.

When we look at the last 30-day data, France leads the new player count with 15%, followed by Saudi Arabia’s 12% and United States at 7%.

We’ve launched our first game, Goal Battle, in a few countries. Our dream is to turn it into a football game that people will enjoy playing for years to come. It’s still early days, and we’re just getting started. ⚽
