The development stage for the title has already begun, as Mantisco states that its goal is to provide an ecosystem that will allow gamers ownership of items. Reportedly, the game will also boast fun combat systems, fast-paced and immersive gameplay, and enjoyable in-game experiences.
Mantisco’s CEO David Yoon has made comments about the partnership with ImmutableX and Hunter’s Arena: Rebirth:
“Aligned with Immutable’s expertise of accelerating the mass adoption of Web3 games, we are now spurring the development of brand new games, including ‘Hunter’s Arena: Rebirth” and other AAA-rated games built with Unreal 5. We focus on players’ motivation, enjoyment, and secured transaction games. Our partnership with Immutable X will be pivotal for us to bring our gaming vision into reality.”
Mantisco shares the company’s vision with these sentences:
“[Our vision is] to give our community excitement and fun factors through stylish, action-packed combat, engaging in-game scenarios, and various opportunities for users to progress their skills, competing against each other while enjoying true ownership of in-game assets.”
Hunter’s Arena: Legends carries the mantle of being the first Korean game with a total of 12 million downloads that was launched both on PlayStation 4 and 5. The game was launched on Steam back in 2020 and received mixed reviews (62% positive) from a total of 931 users.
ImmutableX has been having a busy month in October. Prior to the deal with Mantisco, the platform saw Delysium, DC Comics, and other major Web3 projects join in. Other projects include the likes of Ember Sword, Cross the Ages, Deviants’ Faction, Tatsumeeko, Undead Blocks, and StarHeroes.
