M.O.B.A. Network, the owner and operator of prominent gaming communities, has completed the acquisition of Wargraphs, a leading gaming services provider and in-game app developer, for a maximum amount of €50 million (roughly $54,614,000). Wargraphs specializes in offering players essential statistics and data for popular games like League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, and Legends of Runeterra. Their flagship in-game application, Porofessor, has over ten million downloads and boasts 800,000 daily active users. Built on Overwolf, an all-in-one platform facilitating the creation, sharing, and monetization of in-game apps and mods, Porofessor provides League of Legends players with comprehensive statistics, build recommendations, post-match analysis, replay access, and other gameplay-enhancing features.

The acquisition aligns with M.O.B.A. Network’s overarching mission of providing platforms and tools that enable creators to share content and gaming strategies with individuals worldwide. As a leading gaming community network, M.O.B.A. Network focuses on acquiring, developing, and operating high-quality gaming communities for the global gaming market. By incorporating Wargraphs into its portfolio, M.O.B.A. Network aims to expand its community by introducing new games and diversifying its offerings.

M.O.B.A. Network CEO Björn Mannerqvist commented:

“As the home of some of the world’s most popular and high-quality gaming communities, M.O.B.A. Network is excited to add one of the leading gaming services providers to our roster. By combining our industry-leading operations with the Wargraphs community and passionate leader, we’ll be able to launch services in new regions, reach more gamers, and help bring more gaming services to gamers across the globe.”

Jean-Nicolas, the Founder of Wargraphs, said:

“I started this journey ten years ago with League of Graphs, a high-quality stats website, which evolved into a way for players to understand their match statistics, champion performance, and other key aspects of gameplay. In 2017, I launched what is now Porofessor and transitioned it to an in-game app that players can use in-game and in real-time, with the support of Overwolf, a technology framework that allows third-party developers to easily build gaming apps. I’ve always taken a community-first approach in building Porofessor, and now, with the support of M.O.B.A. Network, I’ll be able to add even more value to gamers as we reach as many players as possible,”

The acquisition agreement encompasses an initial payment of €25 million, with additional consideration of up to €25 million ($27,314,250) based on the achieved EBITDA targets over the next 12 and 24 months.
