Japanese gaming giant Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has sold more than 5 million copies across Nintendo Switch and PC. Monster Hunter’s official Twitter account shared the news and announced commemorative in-game item pack.

Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise and its expansion pack Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has been doing very well in terms of sales. Capcom’s financial report for the first half of 2022, which was released in October 2022, stated that digital content and game sales have increased by 8% thanks to the sales of Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. Succesful expansion pack also resulted in increased sale numbers on original game, Monster Hunter Rise with 11 million copies sold.
Capcom will launch Monster Hunter Rise on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on January 20th, 2023. Sunbreak expansion will come later in the year.
Capcom’s Monster Hunter series is also getting a mobile game developed by Tencent-owned Timi Studio Group. Game developer company is known for games like Call of Duty: Mobile, Pokemon Unite, and Arena of Valor.
