Mountaintop Studios, a Los Angeles-based studio formed by Nate Mitchell, Co-Founder of Oculus, has released the first teaser for its upcoming game, anime-inspired competitive shooter.
The game’s teaser is doing what it is supposed to do, teasing the game without giving much information other than it is coming “soon”. The teaser shows some of the characters from the game and the art style. The studio has previously announced the game will be a competitive shooter and shows glimpses of maps.
Founded in 2020, Mountaintop Studios has over 70 employees, including veterans from Respawn, Epic, Riot, Bungie, and Blizzard. In 2021, the company raised $30 million in a Series A funding round led by Jon Lai at Andreessen Horowitz with participation from Spark Capital, Founders Fund, and Detroit Venture Partners.
