China-based NetEase, one of the leading internet and online game services providers announced its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended December 31, 2022.

NetEase’s net revenues for Q4 2022 have increased by 4% ($3.7 billion) compared to Q4 2021. Games and related value-added services net revenues were increased by 16%, while net income attributable to the cnompany’s shareholders was $573.1 million.
Net revenues from Youdao were $210.8 million, Cloud Music were $344.5 million and other net revenues from innovative businesses and others were $353.5 million for Q4 2022.
Chief Executive Officer and Director of NetEase William Ding said:
“We experienced solid growth in 2022. Primarily as a result of the ongoing popularity of our leading games and the expansion of our range of products and services, we ended the year with total net revenues reaching $3.7 billion in the fourth quarter.”
NetEase made the global news a few weeks ago for tearing down a World of Warcraft statue outside its headquarters. The renewal of the license partnership between Blizzard and NetEase was canceled after the sides could not agree upon certain elements.
