Netflix and Roblox team up for Nextworld virtual theme park

The new partnership will see fans explore the worlds of their favorite shows in Roblox’s Netflix Nextworld, which currently features a number of hit shows.

Streaming giant Netflix and Roblox have revealed that they are working together on a brand-new virtual theme park project called Netflix Nextworld.

Both companies have collaborated on several occasions in the past, with the streaming service establishing a group and a world to advertise different series. Through special events, Netflix has promoted a number of shows, including Stranger Things, Sonic Prime, and others.

The new partnership will see fans explore the worlds of their favorite shows in Roblox’s Netflix Nextworld, which currently features a number of shows, including Rebel Moon, Cobra Kai, the live-action One Piece series, and Stranger Things. Fans can now explore all of these 3D interactive spaces thanks to an Early Access launch.

Three different worlds to access

During its launch period, Netflix Nextworld offered three worlds that were accessible via a hub world. These are Rebel Moon: Outskirts Battle, One Piece: East Blue Brawls, and Stranger Things: Escape from Hawkins High. Various characters from the shows guard these worlds in this game, and players will get to meet Dustin, Monkey D. Luffy, and Jimmy.

By engaging in a variety of minigames, players can also take part in a gaming side mission that ranges from a karate-themed balancing board game based on Cobra Kai to a guessing game called Is It Cake.

As they explore these various worlds, players can gather mementos and wearables from various television series and films to adorn themselves or their “Fan Pod,” which serves as a home base that they can keep secret or open to friends.

More exclusive items like free limited-time UGC, like a flag with a One Piece theme, are available to players in Nextworld as they earn more currency. There will also be other social gatherings and debuts in Nextworld, like the one-time Jurassic World: Chaos Theory event on May 17.
