PlayStation revealed 13 new titles for PS VR2 launch

PlayStation reveals 30 games including 13 new titles.

Tech giant Sony has released a post on PlayStation Blog revealing 13 new titles and a launch window lineup for the PS VR2 launch. So far, more than 30 games have been announced for the February 22, 2023, launch.

PlayStation’s release window for upcoming launch includes games including Horizon Call of the Mountain, No Man’s Sky, and Resident Evil Village. The launch window will be between February 22 and through March. Free PS VR2 update for Gran Turismo 7 is also on track for launch day.

13 new titles announced are:

  • Before Your Eyes
  • Kayak VR: Mirage 
  • Pavlov VR
  • Puzzling Places
  • Song in the Smoke: Rekindled
  • Synth Riders: Remastered Edition
  • Thumper
  • NFL Pro Era
  • What the Bat?
  • Rez Infinite
  • Tetris Effect: Connected
  • Creed: Rise to Glory – Championship Edition
  • The Last Clockwinder

PS VR2 will be available on February 22, 2023 for $549.99 / €599.99 / £529.99 and will include PS VR2 headset, two controllers, and headphones.

Newzoo stated that the market will reach $1.8 billion by the end of 2022. The company also determined the expected total revenue to amount to $2.5 billion in 2023. Further data in the report revealed a total of 27.7 million users will comprise the VR space by the end of this year. Newzoo predicted a 46 million user base by 2024.
