Quake II Remastered might be announced at QuakeCon 2023

Reportedly, Quake II Remastered will be available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

The legendary first-person shooter game Quake II is reportedly getting a remastered release and might be announced at QuakeCon, which takes place next week.

In June, Gametsu reported that the game had been rated by the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea. And now, billbil-kun, who is a reliable source when it comes to game leaks, has reported that the game will be revealed during QuakeCon 2023.

Reportedly, Quake II Remastered will be available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. There is also a possibility for the game to be available on Xbox Game Pass on release day since the IP is now owned by Microsoft.

In 2021, Bethesda announced the original Quake Remastered at QuakeCon and released the game for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. The game was also rated by the Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea and was leaked prior to the official announcement.

In 2019, Nvidia released an updated version of the game, simply called Quake II RTX with brand new ray tracing features.
