Riyadh-based Savvy Games Studios announced its rebranding as Steer Studios as it moves to carve its own unique path within the gaming landscape.
Savvy Games Studios is a subsidiary of Savvy Games Group, which is 100 percent owned by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund PIF. The name change aligns with the studio’s vision, creating its own presence and distinguishing itself from its parent company, which is a giant household name in the making.

Steer Studios is one of the first international games studios in Riyadh. Its team of more than 50 staff, almost 30% of whom are women, are creating exciting games for the global gaming community. By forging a distinct identity, the studio aims to contribute to the success of Saudi Arabia’s games industry and the advancement of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals.
