Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered released a patch today and added the option to link Steam and PlayStation Network accounts. By doing so, players gain access to two new items and two skill points.

After Sony made its games available on PC, there had been speculations for a possible connection between Steam and PlayStation Network. The statement on the patch notes confirms that two platforms can now be connected.
The developer of Spider-Man on PC Nixxes Software, which was acquired by Sony last summer, shared the news on its social media.

It is not confirmed if other Sony games will be updated with the same feature. However, there is now a brand new page dedicated to linking Steam account to PlayStation Network on playstation.com.
