Mysten Labs, a company that creates tools for Web3, and Sui Foundation announced that their upcoming handheld device, SuiPlay0X1, is now available for pre-order starting at $599. Deliveries are expected in 2025.
SuiPlay0X1 offers native support for Steam and Epic game libraries and combines triple-A gaming and new features around digital assets enabled by blockchain technology.
Players can also enjoy built-in web3 titles like Xociety, a pop shooter infused with RPG elements, and Dark Times, a free-to-play, Nordic-inspired medieval brawler royale featuring a physics-based combat system.
The device natively supports tradable assets with a high degree of customization for players. Unlike other blockchains, Sui’s object data structure supports in-game items that players can easily personalize and swap.
Users don’t need any knowledge of Web3 to set up an account and play. They can start playing immediately after purchasing the device.
