Supercell’s new monster hunting game mo.co is available now on the App Store and Google Play Store.

The game launched with a surprising twist, as the game only accepts players through invites. Supercell’s official announcement ensures that there will be plenty of invitations for players. Interested players can get access by:

  • Get invited by other players. By reaching Level 5, players will be able to unlock their own invites and share them with their friends.

  • Supercell Creators will share invites on social media platforms with the #joinmoco hashtag. For the first 48 hours, this will be the only way to join mo.co.

  • Supercell will also share invite codes on their Discord server on launch day.

Supercell states that the game has launched globally, and your progress will be kept forever.

The invite-only system will remain for the foreseeable future.

    mo.co will sell only cosmetics

Supercell decided to remove any pay-to-win features and instead focus only on selling cosmetics that will change player’s style and appearance without impacting the gameplay and/or providing unfair advantages over other players.

This is a very rare move in the mobile industry. Gaming giant Riot Games has used the same strategy for years for its MOBA game League of Legends and its relatively new shooter Valorant and achieved major success.

Supercell states that mo.co will offer something valuable to every type of player, from seasoned MMO or ARPG players who might like a more bite-sized version of the games they love to new players who have yet to experience the joy of these genres.

The game’s Rifts (dungeons in the game) will only take a few minutes to complete. Players will be able to find lots of differents events in the dynamic open world.

    New community manager for mo.co

Just over 4 months ago, Supercell opened a new job post on LinkedIn for a Senior Community Manager role.

With the game’s announcement, Joao Freitas, the community manager for mo.co, introduced himself to the players.

I’m mega pumped to join the team and cannot wait to see where we take mo.co, together!

Is another Supercell game coming out soon?

On February 27th, Supercell teased their new game, titled “Boat Game,” an innovative multiplayer experience with strategic naval battles, exploration, and multiplayer elements.

The game’s reveal trailer showcased various features, including character customization, load-outs, skill trees, sailing mechanics, island exploration, and multiplayer on-foot third-person shooting elements.
