Tether Games develops skill-based games.

Indie skill-based game developer Tether Studios has announced lifetime revenues. The studio has released 27 games so far, including games with more than 30 million downloads.

Tether Studios, which has continued to grow until now, wants to continue its development. To this end, the studio says that it will soon announce new games that push the boundaries of skill games. In addition, Tether, based on its own data, states that the growth percentage of skill-based games is missing close to 60% in the reports published on the industry.

Regarding skill-based games, Tim O’Neil, Co-Founder, and CEO of Tether Studios, said:

“There’s a tremendous opportunity in the skill-based gaming sector right now, as players of all kinds are embracing casual competitive games for their phones and tablets. We’ve seen a record rise in tournament matches and deposits over the past year, and now we’re hiring more developers, designers, artists and product managers to keep up with the pace of content needed and the increasing appetite of players for competitions.”

Aletheia O’Neil, Co-Founder and COO of Tether Games, adds:

“Skill-based games are about casual competition between players. While traditional eSports generate more buzz with their big-budget broadcasts, we’re making bite sized competition accessible for everyone, and this is part of why the mobile skill game market is being overlooked right now.”

Tether Games’ catalog of skill-based games offers an environment where players can compete head-to-head. Participants in these tournaments have the chance to win prizes such as trophies and cash. In addition to large esports organizations, smaller-scale and talent-based competitions open to everyone bring a different movement to the game industry.
