This global charity campaign connects millions of Destiny players worldwide through unique rewards and livestream festivities to support children’s hospitals and provide relief to communities in need. Running until February 4, the Bungie Foundation reintroduces twenty legacy Destiny 2 emblems from historical campaigns exclusively for donors and fundraisers.
These sought-after rewards showcase the community’s history of generosity associated with Game2Give. For the first time, special edition Game2Give merchandise is available on the Bungie Store in limited quantities, with all profits directly contributing to this year’s Game2Give campaign.
To participate, Guardians are encouraged to donate, earning credits toward various rewards, including the reintroduced legacy emblems and new surprises. A $7 donation earns one credit, and there is no limit on the number of credits, allowing participants to share rewards with friends, family, and the community.
On January 30, the Moments of Triumph event returns, allowing Guardians to reflect on their accomplishments during the year of Lightfall and earn rewards as a testament to their skill, dedication, and spirit. Simultaneously, Riven’s Wishes launches, providing new weekly pursuits with high-value rewards over six consecutive weeks. Additionally, players will see their Glimmer cap doubled to 500,000 in the same update.
Before The Final Shape expansion launches in June, players will gain the ability to customize their existing Guardians’ appearance, including body type, face, hair, and markings at the character selection screen. The Synthweave bounty cap, allowing players to unlock armor ornaments, will be reset, offering more opportunities for self-expression using Destiny 2’s appearance customization system.
Destiny 2: Into the Light will launch in April, introducing new in-game content to prepare Guardians for their journey into the Traveler to take on the Witness in The Final Shape, which is set to launch on June 4. Bungie promises more details about the update in the weeks leading up to the launch.
