The new Avatar game claims a spot in the UK’s top 10 boxed sales

While EA Sports FC 24 clung to its spot at the top, the rest of the games have seen a drop in their ranks from the previous week.

GFK Entertainment, the well-known German market research company, announced the best-selling boxed games in the UK for the week ending on 9th December. Ubisoft’s Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora made the list at the fifth spot just a week after its release.

Developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is an open-world action-adventure game based on the Avatar film series. The first Avatar movie is currently the highest-grossing movie of all time with $2,9 billion, and the second movie Avatar: The Way of Water, is the 3rd highest-grossing movie with $2.3 billion. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is the second video game from the franchise in its history.
