Mobidictum is bringing more than 11 years of Turkish-language games industry publishing experience under the independent turkoyunsektoru.com platform and opening it to contributions from industry professionals.
At Mobidictum, we are giving our Turkish-language games industry coverage a new and independent identity. From now on, our Turkish-language news, analysis, and industry content covering the Turkish games sector will be published under the Türk Oyun Sektörü brand at turkoyunsektoru.com.
We have designed Türk Oyun Sektörü not as the voice of a single publisher, but as a shared knowledge platform for the industry. We want studios, publishers, investors, academics, and industry professionals to be able to contribute through news, analysis, firsthand experience, and industry data. The contribution program will operate within our editorial standards, and those interested in taking part will be able to apply through the platform.
Mobidictum Founder Batuhan Avucan commented:
“We see this step not as a separation, but as a move toward growth. At Mobidictum, we have been closely following the Turkish games industry for more than 11 years. Before investment activity in the sector had even begun to take shape, we gave games companies a voice, introduced them to international audiences, and made it our mission to keep people across the industry informed. Today, we believe the Turkish games industry is ready to build a strong identity of its own and that the time has come for this platform to grow together with everyone who wants to contribute. We hope this model will allow us to support the industry’s development even further.”
At Mobidictum, meanwhile, we continue to deepen our international focus. Through the Mobidictum Conference, held every October in Istanbul, we bring together professionals from more than 65 countries. At the same time, through our mixer series in Lisbon, Berlin, Helsinki, Barcelona, Cologne, Ho Chi Minh City, and Doha, alongside our English-language publishing and community activities, we continue to connect the Turkish games industry with the global ecosystem.
We will also continue to bring notable developments covered by Türk Oyun Sektörü to international audiences through Mobidictum’s global channels. In this way, while giving our Turkish-language publishing its own identity, we will continue our mission of increasing the global visibility of the games industry in Türkiye.
