Twitch introduces new Alerts feature

Popular live streaming service Twitch introduced the new Alerts functionality directly to Creator Dashboard. Alerts can be used for essential interactions like subscriptions and follow. Alerts also brings unique to Twitch features such as interactive resubs and celebrations.

Streamers relied on third-party applications like Streamlabs for new followers, subscribers, and other alerts. Streamers can set up five different visual and audio options or use the Twitch-provided defaults for viewers to choose from.

Twitch’s blogpost said “Our goal is to give you the tools to express yourself. Alerts are a sandbox for you to show off what you and your community are about, and we hope you’ll use them in ways we’ve never seen.”

Twitch Alerts can be set from Creator Dashboard. It includes features like bulk editing, Alert set management, and a customizable HTML and CSS editor.
