WePlay partners with Saran Group for audio and localization services

WePlay Ventures announced a new partnership with a subsidiary of Saran Group to take advantage of their expertise in localization and audio.

WePlay Ventures announced that it partnered with Saran Group’s subsidiary, Saran Digital Studios (SDS), to acquireaudio and localization services for studios they have invested in and games they are developing.

Netherlands-based WePlay Ventures is one of the most active game industry investors in Türkiye, with 14 gaming startups and 450 games in its investment portfolio. With this partnership, the company plans to increase its voicing, audio, and localization abilities to global standards. WePlay aims for 25 game enterprises it intends to invest in this year to be included in the deal.

Bora Koçyiğit, Managing Partner of WePlay Ventures, said about the partnership:

For this, we think that quality audio and localization are essential, considering the position of the game industry. Burcu Şenbakar Doyum, Director of Saran Digital Studios, commented on the partnership: 

“As SDS, we offer dubbing, subtitling, translation, and technical services to many important global and domestic brands. With this collaboration with WePlay Ventures, we are happy to expand our portfolio and step into the game industry.”

The partnership is a mutually beneficial one. Saran Digital Group is an experienced and widely known company that specializes in providing audio services for movies and series but wasn’t present in the game industry. With this agreement, Saran Group can enter game industry territory with a strong and experienced partner in its field.
