Lithuania-based games marketplace Eneba has secured a €10 million loan from ILTE Lietuva to accelerate the development of a new online platform for mobile games.

Founded in 2018, Eneba operates a global digital marketplace offering PC and console titles, in-game items, subscriptions, and gift cards.

The new funding marks a significant step in the company’s expansion strategy as it prepares to enter the mobile gaming sector with an AI-driven recommendation system designed to enhance user engagement and discovery.

The financing is structured as a loan agreement rather than an equity investment. Eneba’s partner, ILTE Lietuva, is providing the capital to support the company’s technological and product development goals without altering its ownership structure.

Eneba, also known under its legal entity Helis Play, previously raised $8 million in equity funding in 2020 from investors including Practica Capital and InReach Ventures.

With this latest €10 million injection, the company aims to expand beyond its core PC and console marketplace into a broader gaming ecosystem that includes mobile distribution and personalized user experiences powered by machine learning.
