Kübra Gündoğan, co-founder and CEO of Loom Games, has won the Future Boss Rising Star Award at the inaugural BOSS Mode: Women Leaders in Games, Entertainment, Media & Technology Awards organized by GamesBeat.
The award recognizes up-and-coming women in the games industry who have made a significant impact in a short period of time. The winners were announced during the GamesBeat Summit 2026 held in Los Angeles.
Before founding Loom Games in 2025, Kübra Gündoğan spent six years at Crescive Games, where the team developed its first major hit, Twisted Tangle. Following the launch of Loom Games, Gündoğan led the studio’s hybrid-casual puzzle game Pixel Flow! to surpass 10 million players within months of release, with the title becoming one of the few new casual mobile games to break into the U.S. top-20 grossing charts.
Loom Games’ rapid growth under Gündoğan’s leadership after Scopely acquired a majority stake in the Istanbul-based studio in a deal valuing the company at more than $1 billion, making Loom Games one of Türkiye’s newest gaming unicorns.
In her acceptance speech, Gündoğan thanked Scopely for supporting the creative direction behind Pixel Flow!.
“That partnership gave us the platform to think even bigger about what comes next. Receiving this award makes it even more special.”

The BOSS Mode Awards were launched this year by GamesBeat to celebrate women leaders across gaming, entertainment, media, and technology. The awards featured three categories: Woman of the Year (won by Scopely COO Eunice Lee, Future Boss Rising Star, and Lifetime Achievement (won by Amy Hennig).
