Mobidictum Conference 2026 recap!

What an incredible two days in Istanbul!

The fifth edition of Mobidictum Conference brought together 2,000 attendees from over 65 countries on October 7–8 at the Lütfi Kırdar Congress Center.

With 63% international attendees and 37% from Türkiye, this year’s conference marked another milestone in our journey toward becoming a truly global games industry network.

Across two days, attendees participated in 2,300 business meetings, while 125 speakers delivered across 60 sessions, bringing together ideas, insights, and perspectives from across the games and apps industries.

From business opportunities and industry discussions to indie games and major announcements, here’s a look back at what made Mobidictum Conference 2026 special.

A global gathering with a bigger vision

Batuhan Avucan, delivering his opening speech at Mobidictum Conference 2026

Mobidictum Founder and CEO Batuhan Avucan opened the conference by reflecting on how far our community has come and sharing what comes next.

What started as a small gaming blog has grown into a network connecting developers, publishers, investors, and industry professionals from around the world.

One of the biggest announcements was Mobidictum Ventures, a new initiative designed to help companies grow through the strength of our network, media, events, and industry relationships.

As Batuhan emphasized during his opening speech, Mobidictum’s greatest strength has always been bringing the right people together.

He also highlighted how these connections have already contributed to the industry’s growth, sharing that one of Türkiye’s gaming unicorns met an investor at last year’s conference.

Connecting the industry through 2,300 meetings

Networking remains at the heart of Mobidictum Conference.

Throughout the event, founders, investors, publishers, developers, and service providers came together for 2,300 business meetings, exploring opportunities, exchanging ideas, and building new partnerships.

Our meeting platform helped participants connect, while dedicated networking gatherings, including the Investor Matchup, Publisher Matchup, Founders Mixer, and Morning Speed Match, created additional opportunities for meaningful conversations.

Beyond scheduled meetings, conversations continued throughout the exhibition areas, networking events, and social gatherings.

These connections remain central to our mission of helping the games industry grow together.

125 speakers, 60 sessions, and countless insights

This year’s conference welcomed 125 speakers across 60 sessions, bringing together industry leaders, experienced founders, investors, and creative professionals to share their knowledge and perspectives.

From game development and publishing to investment, user acquisition, monetization, and the future of the industry, our stages hosted discussions covering the opportunities and challenges shaping gaming today.

The conference also continued broadening its reach by bringing gaming and mobile app professionals into the same ecosystem.

With a dedicated stage for the app industry, participants had more opportunities to explore the similarities, differences, and potential collaborations between these interconnected sectors.

A bigger home for PC and indie games

One of this year’s most exciting additions was Games Expo, a dedicated space bringing PC and console developers, industry professionals, content creators, and gaming enthusiasts together.

The expanded Indie Spot featured playable games, while the Open Stage, workshops, board game activities, and community experiences added a new dimension to the conference.

Beyond the venue, the Mobidictum Steam Showcase 2026 brought participating developers to a global audience, generating more than 1 million impressions during the event.

By connecting physical showcases with online discovery, we aimed to provide indie developers with opportunities to reach both industry professionals and players around the world.

Celebrating indie developers with the Indie Award Show

The Indie Award Show was another highlight of Mobidictum Conference 2026, celebrating the creativity, passion, and dedication of independent developers.

With 40 participating indie games and seven awards, including jury-selected categories and the Community Choice vote, the ceremony recognized the talent and hard work behind independent projects.

The awards brought developers and attendees together to celebrate the teams helping shape the future of gaming.

Growing together with our partners

Mobidictum Conference 2026 was made possible through the support of 65 supporters, whose contributions helped us bring the global games industry together in Istanbul.

This year, we were also pleased to welcome Google Gemini as our Official AI Partner, reflecting the growing relationship between artificial intelligence and the gaming ecosystem.

From long-standing partners to companies joining us for the first time, their support played an essential role in creating opportunities for thousands of industry professionals.

New chapters beyond the conference

This year’s conference also marked important milestones in Mobidictum’s journey beyond media and events.

Alongside the announcement of Mobidictum Ventures, we celebrated the Turkish publication of Kim Nordström’s UP DOWN UP, bringing insights on leadership, entrepreneurship, and building game companies to Turkish readers.

With media, events, community initiatives, ventures, and now books, Mobidictum continues to expand its role within the games industry.

Our goal remains the same: creating more opportunities for game makers and helping the industry grow through meaningful connections.

Looking ahead: Mobidictum Week 2027

The fifth Mobidictum Conference may be over, but we’re already looking toward the next chapter.

During his opening speech, Batuhan announced Mobidictum Week, our vision for bringing the global games industry together for an entire week in Istanbul.

Beyond the conference itself, the initiative aims to bring together mixers, parties, side events, and community-driven gatherings, inviting everyone in the industry to help make the week their own.

We also plan to expand our international mixer series across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, creating more opportunities for game makers to experience Mobidictum throughout the year.

Thank you for being part of our journey and helping us build something bigger every year.

See you in 2027!

October is Mobidictum.
