Appcharge, the leading direct-to-consumer (DTC) payments and monetisation platform for mobile games, announced the opening of a new office in Istanbul, Turkiye, and the creation of a dedicated local team.

Following Appcharge’s announcement of a Helsinki local team in late 2025 to deepen ties with Nordic developers and foster closer collaboration with local partners, the company is now turning its focus to Turkiye’s vibrant gaming market – a region recognised for its high-growth mobile audience, world-class studios, and dynamic developer community.

Turkiye has emerged as a key engine of mobile gaming innovation, with a rapidly expanding player base and a strong track record of global hits developed by local studios. With millions of passionate mobile players, a thriving live services culture, and increasing international investment, Turkiye represents a strategic next step for Appcharge as it scales its DTC infrastructure globally.

The new office will initially focus on commercial growth, customer success, partnership development, and local community engagement, with hiring underway across multiple roles. By establishing a physical presence in the region, the company aims to be closer to its partners, better understand local market dynamics, and accelerate the adoption of DTC monetisation strategies.

“Turkiye represents the next frontier for mobile games.

We’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be when local presence leads to stronger partnerships and deeper collaboration. The talent, ambition, and creative output here make it a natural next focus for Appcharge’s international growth.”

Appcharge’s expansion into Turkiye comes at a time when mobile developers worldwide are increasingly embracing hybrid monetisation strategies that combine traditional in-app purchases with web-based DTC experiences.

By providing a full-stack DTC platform – including payments, checkout flows, analytics, and compliance tooling – Appcharge helps studios build deeper relationships with their players while capturing more revenue and reducing dependence on platform fees

The company’s decision to invest in both Finland and Turkiye underscores its belief that local presence matters. In Helsinki, Appcharge has strengthened its collaborations with Finnish studios and ecosystem partners, supporting a community that continues to define global standards in mobile game innovation and monetisation.

“Being in the market isn’t just about business development – it’s about being in the rooms where new ideas take shape.

Turkiye’s creative ecosystem is rich with founders building games for global audiences. We want to be part of that journey, helping local partners unlock new revenue opportunities and compete globally.”

The Turkish office is expected to open in 2026, with recruitment already underway. Appcharge plans to actively collaborate with local studios and developer communities to support sustainable growth in the region’s mobile game industry.
