Developed in collaboration with Polygon Labs, this initiative is aims to revolutionize the landscape of AAA blockchain games.
Immutable zkEVM is an entire ecosystem, not only a gaming platform. It’s designed to facilitate the creation and enjoyment of Web3 games and critical partners, including AQUA Marketplace, TokenTrove Marketplace, BlockScout, GameStop, iLogos, and Kongregate, with over 20 other new collaborations having committed to the Immutable zkEVM ecosystem.
As part of the Immutable zkEVM Testnet, developers will have full EVM compatibility and access to the entire suite of Immutable tools and solutions, including APIs, SDKs, and solutions such as Passport, Checkout, and Orderbook. Also, contracts can now be deployed on the Immutable zkEVM Testnet, which also provides access to a native L2 faucet for Test-IMX, Sepolia deposit and withdrawal bridges, a block explorer, and an upcoming Immutable Relayer for currency abstraction and gas sponsorship. The implementation of zkEVM introduces enterprise-grade security and the potential for vast network expansion, reduced development expenditures, and seamless integration within the Ethereum ecosystem.
