Infinite Reality has acquired Landvault for $450 million, aiming to bolster its position in the digital media and e-commerce sectors through AI and immersive technologies. Landvault, now an enterprise arm of Infinite Reality, will focus on the Middle East region. Infinite Reality also announced that it raised $350 million, bringing its market value to $5.1 billion.
Landvault’s journey and future
Founded in 2016, Landvault initially operated as an ad tech company for games under the name Admix. Following Facebook’s rebranding to Meta, the company pivoted to metaverse technology, ultimately becoming Landvault. Despite challenges during the “metaverse winter,” LandVault secured large government contracts in the Middle East and developed advanced tools for creating and monetizing virtual environments.
Landvault will continue to operate under its brand, ensuring seamless service for existing clients. The acquisition promises enhanced products and services, focusing on enterprise clients and the MENA region.
