Microids, the French video game publisher, has announced a collaboration with Savage Level, a new French video game development studio. Savage Level comprises industry veterans who have worked on titles like Battlefleet Gothic Armada, Ghost Recon, Tell Me Why, and Aliens Dark Descent. The studio is already in pre-production for a game scheduled to launch on PC and consoles in 2024. The partnership between Microids and Savage Level is part of Microids’ publishing strategy to add more mid-core titles to its video game portfolio.
Maxime Josse, CEO & Co-Founder of Savage Level, said the studio was founded to create captivating and innovative games within a healthy environment favorable for creativity. Aurélien Josse, CCO & Co-Founder of Savage Level, added that by working with Microids, they could realize their vision and look forward to revealing the incredible experience they are crafting.

Savage Level states that it is committed to the concepts of community and inclusiveness, where everyone is welcome on board. The studio develops AA games intending to immerse players in rich universes while offering deep but accessible gameplay and paying particular attention to an art direction rooted in traditional arts. Savage Level games are designed for both PC and console platforms.
