Game developer and publisher NDreams has announced that it has received a $35 million investment from Aonic Group. This investment will be used to expand the company’s VR gaming portfolio and strengthen its team.

NDreams was founded in 2014 and developed games such as Phantom: Covert Ops, Fracked, and Far Cry: Dive Into Insanity. Patrick O’Luanaigh, CEO and co-founder of NDreams, says:

“This investment is a pivotal moment for NDreams, and I’m delighted to have the support of Aonic, who shares the same ambitious vision for the company that we do. As VR continues its trajectory towards becoming a truly mass-market technology, this is the rocket fuel needed to accelerate our rapid growth and take advantage of the many opportunities that continue to come our way.”

NDreams has also opened a new studio called NDreams Studio Elevation to develop its game portfolio in the past months. Processes will be accelerated for post-investment VR games.
