Raptor PR hires award-winning James Law as PR Direcor

Raptor PR, the specialist tech PR agency catering to the global video games industry, has announced the appointment of James Law as its new PR Director.

James Law, recognized as one of the MCV/DEVELOP 30 Under 30 2023 winners in PR and communications, will be instrumental in establishing Raptor PR’s new consumer gaming PR division while also overseeing key B2B accounts at the agency.

With a focus on expanding its offerings, Raptor PR has carved a unique niche as the world’s sole specialist B2B tech PR agency for the global games industry since early 2021. Law’s appointment marks a strategic move for the agency as it aims to integrate a fully integrated B2C PR service for ambitious game development studios and publishers across the mobile, PC, and console gaming sectors.

Before joining Raptor PR, Law was PR Manager at Heaven Media, a prominent creative marketing agency specializing in gaming and technology. His background includes working with global brands like Nexon, Fanatec, and PowerA, as well as indie developers such as OutOfTheBit, Wales Interactive, and Utomik. Before his tenure at Heaven Media, Law built experience as a consumer games industry journalist, contributing to esteemed gaming outlets such as Eurogamer, NME, Rock Paper Shotgun, and PC Gamer. Additionally, he held the position of Managing Editor at Gfinity Esports.
